Rockwood Windjammer 2102W

We bought a new 2102W in August 2010. After two cross country round trips, CA to FLA the inadequately supported slide in bed has become a major issue.

The foot of the bed is only supported from one side wall using a tube steel bar on a track and wheel. The steel bar is screwed into the aluminum bed frame. The cantilevered bed bounces freely when driving and the screws ripped out of the aluminum or broke off. The bouncing cracked the exterior fiberglass paneling and the head of the bed droops down about a foot from level when the bed is extended out.

I have put new and larger screws at different locations on the tube steel bar and support the foot end using the yellow plastic blocks normally intended to level the trailer exterior when moving. The head of the bed still droops about 6 inches so we sleep with our heads at the foot of the bed.

Other than that, we love the trailer.
