Roof weight limit for 8315BSS ??

On these long, long, very cold Alberta nights I tend the let the hours drip bye pondering about the small stuff in life and "when can I get back out in the trailer". Alas, I know that wont be until April or May at the earliest. But, amongst some of the small stuff I wondered about was, "what is the weight limit the roof of the trailer will hold?" I ask this because in the spring, (so that's mid June up here) I need to go and install a coupe of the Max Air vents on the trailer. And, being of a more mature build, would like to know how much weight I need to lose before venturing up there.

If anyone has this data close to hand and wouldn't mind sharing, it will help me set my New Years resolution. Thanks

I'd contact the factory via phone or email. I don't think you'll need your VIN # of your trailer, but it wouldn't hurt to have it handy.

The roof access ladder is rated for 300 lbs...that's a pretty good indicator. I've seen pictures at the factory or service center with 2 and 3 men on the roof working on the A/C, etc.

I'm up there every trip to sweep off the slides and I'm 205 lbs. It's a little springy but strong. If you're worried, keep to the perimeter or use some 2 x 2' pieces of 1/4" plywood to move around.

Good news then. I don't have to set a New Years resolution! Seems like I have about 100lbs to spare.

Many thanks for the speedy response. I truly appreciate your help and all the great tips I can pick up on this site.
