RW 8329SS Pre-wired for backup camera

Does anyone have any advice on the pre-wired backup camera that came with my new 8329SS? Are they worth looking into? My last TT was 24 feet so this is a substantial upgrade for me. Trying to spend my money wisely.

PM Colem, I believe he has tinkered with it on his 8327SS. Good luck, and welcome to the Rockwood family!

Hey congrats on the new rig. I have also investigated the furrion camera. Gl1800rider has purchased this camera and was happy with the performance. If u look at the web sight it's pretty expensive there but I have been told at frog rallies they have been sold for around 299. I know it's powered from the rear clearance light not the backup circuit powered by the vehicle which I think is good since u could check out behind u as your driving. Good luck and let me know how your research goes.

Our dealer threw in the furrion back up camera when we purchased our 8311ss two weeks ago. It seems to be a great add. Works fine during the daytime but doesn't have night vision so not helpful at night. Will report back when we've used it more.
