RW Mini Lite 2306 VS. Jay Feather X213 VS. Outback Terrain 210TRS

Trying to decide between these 3 units for use in Ontario for up to a week or two at a time but mostly 2-3 nights at a time. We already have a Forest River 5er that we love and think highly of Forest River as a reputable company. Going to be leaving our 5er in Florida for the winters so want something for local stuff when we're home.

Both the Jayco and the Keystone models have hard slide KING size beds, but the Rockwood has the walk around Queen which we would get as a Murphy bed so that we have the couch and extra floor space during the day.

Both Jayco and Keystone have bunks where the bottom folds up and you have a door on the other side to store bikes etc there. The Rockwood does not. However in contrast, the Rockwood is easier when packing up as you don't have to collapse the dinette or the couch which would have to be done in the other two.

Anyone able to offer some opinions/advice etc?? It would be greatly appreciated!!

We really liked our 2306, but we were limited by our TV, so it was the biggest thing we could get that we could tow.

I can see how the other two have lots more room. I'd think it might be worth the sacrifice of packing up to get that extra room plus the bike storage. I'm claustrophobic, so I don't know if I could sleep in that bed. But it would be nice to have a king size.

In the end, it's down to what floor plan you like more.

Yes you're right about the fact that it's got to be a livable floor plan. We've done a lot of research online and looking at YouTube videos of the trailers we're considering. So far based on that we're still considering the three I mentioned above along with the Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S-and if we decide on the 2109S we're thinking of asking if we can get the Murphy bed instead of the regular bed as it is an option for the same sized trailer the 2104S. We don't want the 2104S though cause with the slide in you can't access either the washroom or the fridge and those that say they can have to leave the washroom door open when they close the slide, and can barely fit in their arm to grab a can of pop out of the fridge. This would not be good for travelling and stopping for lunch do we decided against this model.

We looked at the 2306 and the Jayco 213 when we were looking. Orginally we were leaning towards the Jayco, due to the size when the slide was open.
In the end we went with the Mini Lite 2306, because of the walk around bed and the storage. No regrets, we love this trailer after 2 seasons.

We love our flagstaff 23lb, sister to the rock wood 2306. Walk around bed is nice although having a couch like the jayco and outback would be nice. We were limited on towing so we went with the flagstaff.

Another point is not sure how hard it is to make the beds on the jayco or outback.

We liked the roominess if the rear slide on the Terrains. However, my wife asked me a few question and we crossed it off the list. 1. Where do we sit our clocks, books, magazines, white noise machine and anything else we take to bed with us. 2. How do you put the darn sheets on? 3. "When you wake-up in the middle of the night, will you shake the whole camper getting out of bed?" Hmmm... Probably. 4. What's with the cheesy half curtain?

We decided, at that time, to stick with our 2306. We've since upgraded our TV, so decided to go bigger with the TT as well.

Good luck in your hunt.

KDHfan your wife raised a lot of good points. Food for thought. Thanks.
