RW ML Prototype @Goshen

At the Goshen Rally there is a Rockwood Mini Lite Prototype that is almost the same as the 2504S. It has the bunks and the washroom reversed to add an outside kitchen. But they made the bunks wider and therefore the washroom is smaller and without the garden shower. It has the tub/shower with curtain instead.
Also you would not be able to upgrade the 24" TV where it is as there is not room. View of the TV is obstructed from the sofa which is a big fail in my opinion.
Too bad, cause I've had the same idea about reversing the washroom and the bunks but I would have kept them the same size as the 2504S. Need to figure out something to fix the TV issue also. Otherwise a great trailer!

Here's some pics I took of it today. It doesn't have a model # on it.

Thanks for posting the pics. That's a very neat little MiniLite! My husband and I love how the outdoor kitchen has been added after moving the position of the bathe and bunks. One big reason why we chose the 2506s was the outdoor kitchen. We did all of our cooking outside on our summer trip to Niagara and even ate all our meals outside. I can't wait to see if FR will actually bring this little baby to life as a model available for purchase!

Once again, thanks for posting. We appreciate it!

I actually hate that you posted this. I am in the market for the 2504S. I like the current one a lot and I am ready to purchase. And THEN! You had to post this.

Now, I have to decide whether or not to wait for this or not. Does anyone know how soon prototypes make it to market?

By the way, as far as I have seen the bathroom on this years model already had the tub shower so that seems the same. It just looks like the toilet is positioned differently

Try sending them an email that you saw pics of the prototype from a rally and are really interested in the model with an outdoor kitchen. You never know, they just might answer your question!!!

I did just that and here is the response (now I have to wait):

"Thank you for your interest in Rockwood. That model is the 2509S. I believe that is about the same length and weight as the 2504S. This model should be available around mid to late September. We should have information and pricing on it soon and the information for it will appear in our brochures available late September."

Well, we have the 2506s and can tell you that we LOVE our outdoor kitchen. We cooked only once inside and that was only because it rained. IMHO I do believe it will be worth the wait! Let us know when you decide to buy!

so does this mean there are two others models (2507s and 2508s) that we don't know about?
