Safety tie for TV

I purchased a new 2014 Rockwood 2904SS this spring. I recall that while we were looking for the new trailer, that some of the ones we looked at had a sort safety strap going around the LCD TV holding it to the wall mounted bracket. I assumed that was a safety feature to prevent it from coming out of place while traveling. In looking over all my materials that came with the trailer, I cannot find any mention of such a strap nor can I find a strap. Does anyone know is an additional security strap is needed?

Don't know about your model ours has a safety strap but you can lift the TV off the wall bracket & use it on an outside mount so I assume that ours has one mainly because the swing arm is sitting in a slide off bracket , possibly allowing the whole TV to bounce off going down the road.

I simply put a couple of books under the bottom of the TV that squeeze in tight. TV doesn't vibrate when bumping and traveling. Simple but it works!

I think I had better get some sort of strap or support the tv from the bottom as Wyoman suggests. Sure don't want that thing bouncing off while traveling. I may try a pillow under it. If anyone with a Rockwood 2904SS had a strap as standard equipment I would like to hear from you. Thanks to all.

I made up a strap using 1" webbing and fastek buckles. I secured the webbing by using a small metal plates pop riveted to the wall. I put bubble wrap under the strap to prevent chaffing. 2 years and the strap still holds securely.
