Sandy mat!

I read a lot of the mat threads and they say where they got theirs and how it's a must to have one; the bigger the better...well, mine drives me nuts! It only holds sand....

There are several type of weaves and materials used on them. Looks like may have one of the more open ones. The dog will also constantly drag sand/dirt onto it. We keep a dollar store broom handy and just sweep it off a couple of times a day.

You are going to have/get/drag/carry Sand if around Beaches or Dunes or Desert areas! We have found the Best "All around Mat" is from "J & J Sunshades and Mats" we have been setup for a Week and No "Grass Damage", People with Dogs also RAVE about them for Dog Show use! Our Mat is a J & J Lifetime Warranty also! Youroo!!

That is NOT a true RV mat.
RV awning mats are woven and allow for sand and dirt to pass through.

We have a door entry may at the end of ours. We try to pick it up the day before we leave to let bottom side dry them shake and fold. Some sites we don't even put it down. Like if there is a lot of dirt/sand or heavy rains forecasted.

I learned that lesson trying to use outdoor carpet as a matt.

Well poo, when I purchased it was labeled an RV mat...and it certainly resembles an RV mat...

So what's it made for?

It looks like a solid sheet of plastic.
A RV awning mat is made of thick woven plastic threads, like a flat woven basket.

most Walmarts carry a blue one and a brown one, both 9'x12' and both less than $50, I think they're Camco brand,... DW says we're not completely set up until the mat is down,.......
