I can't find the insert anymore locally. I'll have to look at the 4" fence post as an idea.

I bolted mine through the floor of my front storage compartment.

Menards carries a 4" u-shape vinyl gutter, has the in stock at my local store. Check Menards.com, I wasn't able to get a shipping cost estimate to Florida - said to check options at check-out and I didn't want to go that far in the web site.


FWIW, I also looked at the k-shape which is 4 1/2". You could trim off the lip on the front side and end up with just about the same thing.

I'll have to check Menards. I just now finished installing mine. Bolted the right side up to the entry step frame, and bolted the left side to the bracket that was there holding the storage tube that I couldn't use. For the time being, I used 2 plastic 5" gutters and cut them down to make them useable until I can find what I want. Isn't pretty but it works.

Actually, it's me. Ace Hardware had them. Never thought to check. They even had end caps. I cut them in half horizontally to make a stop at the inside end, and a handle for the outer end. Project complete. Thanks for the info Beck!
