Shake down cruise

Well we made our first trip today with the new trailer
Pulled real good got 8.5 miles to the gallon, which I figure isn't to bad with the heavier trailer. Sure is a good bit roomier than the other trailer. Love the fireplace and the recliners.

Congrats on your Windjammer, you will love it. I am waiting on the spring thaw. Hoping for MANY more trips this year. Got my new to me Tow vehicle just can't wait. I love my fireplace also, puts out pretty good heat.

Finding a few issues that need fixed. The charging station has no power, and the frame around the fireplace place is missing a clip that holds it in place. At least they are small things.

We haven't used it yet. We just got the RV in October and living in NJ it's been snowed in. Guess I will have to check it out. Glad you only have a few minor things to fix. Our last 2 (not Forest River) RV's were horrible - major problems. So far we've used our Windjammer on 5 different campouts and everything has been great. Lets hope all the pipes are fine - we've had such cold weather in February.

I hear that about the pipes, the dealer did put antifreeze in our pipes cuz they probably did a pressure test on it. we've been running the fireplace and everytime we turn the microwave on it trips the breaker on the fireplace so I guess I have to get that checked out.

We haven't had that problem. We ran our fireplace the whole time in the fall and I think used the microwave at the same time. We have a 50amp service do you??

No we have a 30 amp service and I just spoke to our dealer and he says there's a transfer switch on the fireplace and that you can't run the microwave and the fireplace at the same time. I guess that's what the transfer switch is for it will switch back and forth between the fireplace and the microwave
