Shower Caddy/2109S 2014

What have you folks done to keep your soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc in the shower. The in-shower molded caddy won't hold a thing! Thanking you in advance.

Amazon.com - Zenith Products 7803SS Bathstyles Over-the-Shower Door Caddy, Chrome

What is nice about it is it has two hooks to hang stuff on outside of the shower.

What are you hanging that on? All that's really available is the bathroom door to hang it on in the 2109s.

I found one with locking suction cups at Bed Bath and Beyond similar to the one featured at this website. However, this one does not totally lock. The one I have does and has not fallen in the three months since I put it up. Has not rusted either.

We use a command hook with mesh caddy. Been up in our duvet since march, about 15 trips. We have soap, five bottles of Shampoo or conditioner, razor, and body wash in it. It seems to stay well attached

I bought a shower curtain with pockets in it. Works great. Shampoo, rinse and other paraphernalia in the pockets helps hold the curtain in place. (A little caution is in order here because I'm not sure how strong the curtain track is.) I also bought a couple of glue-on-the-wall soap holders. Still holding snug after 7 or 8 3 days outings with twice daily use.

I also have the 2109S...what I have done is transfer shampoo, conditioner, and shower body wash, into small plastic squeeze bottles, like the ones that you would use, to take with you when flying on an airplane....I buy mine at Sally Beauty Supply.

I just set them on the bathroom sink, close to the shower curtain, and just reach out and get the one that I need to use. They are small, so I'm not fumbling with big, slippery bottles...plus they are ready to go if I would decide to go to the campground shower house.

Not a perfect solution, but it works for me.

The walls of our shower are totally smooth. Even though it locks down, it might not work on "pebbled" walls. What's nice about smooth walls, I took a locking hand hold (from Camping World), turned it sideways and mounted up from the floor so that I had a place to balance a leg when washing a foor (or leg shaving). Works great.

In our shower we install a trio soap dispenser like the Better Living AVIVA Trio Dispenser found on Amazon. I was looking for something that could be put in the corner and not use any more room than it had to in the tight quarters of the shower. We used the two way tape and silicone to install it in the corner. So far it have worked wonderfully!

We bought a shower basket from Walmart with what looks like adhesive backing. I hope it will stay on that rough surface of the shower wall. Still haven't picked the spot to put, DW will do that . We have been putting everything on the sink counter & dropping them into the sink when finished. Only a few water drop to clean up this way.

That foot rest is a great idea.

That is what we do also, it works out good. We do military type showers so the water is off when we're reaching for the items on the sink. 30 gallons of gray water fills up quickly so rationing water is a good thing for a longer stay with no sewer hookups.

We also turn the water off between wet & rinse time. However, I would not want to open the door for each item - brrr - it gets cold. I even dry while still in the shower..lol.

After I am clothed, then I use shower spray on the walls every single time. Our previous Cedarcreek shower still looked new when we traded it in.

shower rack

I just took a vinyl coated shower rack that I bought at Home Depot and bent the top that normally hangs from the shower head in a U shape and hung it on the inside of the shower. Works great.

Shower caddy dilemma solved

I was in the attic yesterday and found this mesh shower caddy from a past application that I had forgotten about. We added a middle grommet and plan to hang it from the shower rings on the inside of the shower. We also plan to add more clips from the shower ring track to the ceiling for more hanging strength.
I'm new to the forum and hope this .jpg pic attaches.............Thanks to all that shared their shower caddy ideas.
