side mount gas grille

5 year old gas grill that came with our Windjammer is very tired. Anyone know of a good quality upgrade that would hang on the side mount? It connects directly to the propane hose at the side of the camper. No regulator.

If I got 5 years out of a gas grill, I'd be pretty happy and inclined to buy the same as a replacement!!!

CW has some deals going on for grills and such right now - https://www.campingworld.com/outside...lls/gas-grills

There are a few models in there that hook to the side or hook took the side and can be used tabletop.

In all seriousness, we just upgraded our camper and no longer have an outdoor kitchen, so we purchased a coleman stove to go along with our bbq. As a result, we've been using a 4ft x 2ft table in lieu of the wall mount. You can actually flip the wall mount bracket on the BBQ and use it as a table stand!

I think when we replace the BBQ we'll go with one with legs or a table top version, and not worry about the wall mount. Was never overly keen on grilling that close to the side wall anyway.

I do like the coleman model in DieselDrax's link above.

There are Side and bumper mounts for the Web Q. I just installed a Weber 2200 with a Bill BumperQ swing arm on my bumper so that I don't have to store it anywhere. Got the cover for it and it has rode nicely back there for over 2500 miles so far.

Handydc, I'd take up the offers others are giving you. I also had one of those and after 3 years the heat diffuser rotted out. I saw the CW had a replacement for $199. My DW bought a table top Napoleon. I got my F-I-L to drill out the slides from the old one and he took off the gas attachment and retrofitted the equipment onto the Napoleon. The Napoleon now fits onto the bracket and the onboard gas supply line fits onto Napoleon. Works great. We have an outdoor kitchen. I have a pic, you may need to download it and zoom in. Works well.

We had the same grill and setup as you on a Windjammer. Bought an Olympian 5500 Professional Series about three years ago, on sale, from Camping World. Fits exactly as your old grill and is excellent. No modifications necessary.

You can buy a replacement for that grill at Campers World or at a dealer's store. I myself like it, but it is usually only myself and the wife. A larger group would require a larger grill.
