Sink stain

Rockwood 8314 BSS less than a year old. Anyone else having issues with their kitchen sink staining? I suspect that they use the same sinks in a lot of models. We use Soft Scrub to clean it but it takes lots of elbow grease and does not stay clean long. Clean it and then spill a little coffee in it without wiping up and you have another big stain. Was wondering if there might be something to coat it in that would help. My first thought was car polish but probably not......Click image for larger version

I've had that same problem on an identical sink. I nearly filled the sink with hot water and poured in a 1/4 cup of OXI clean and swished it around. Then let it set for about an hour or two and then drain and rinse.

At the factory they use (outside only, sprayed on a rag) brake cleaner and wiped the stain off of mine. i also have used Bon-ami cleanser works great and does not scratch.
