Size of LCD in 2701SS

I tried a search but the engine says lcd is too short or common to search on.

We are buying a 2701SS from RVW and want to get an LCD for it. This is the 2008 with the little cubby by the fridge for the TV. Wondering what size will fit in there?

Thanks,

Tom

Hmmm tough question without seeing one. It does look like your model is identical to the Flagstaff 27bhss. However neither brochure provides any image of where the TV is.

27BHSS with Optional TV

Hello,

My family and I bought a 2007 Flagstaff 27BHSS with the optional TV. Check out the link below for a picture of where the factory mounted the TV. It is mounted on a swing mount so the TV can be viewed from either the front or rear of the trailer. Great location. Hope this helps.

Good Luck!!

LCD Size

First the option sheet from our dealer lists either a 15" LCD or a 19" LCD / Dolby Digital sound system option. Second, the 08 2701SS (or 27BHSS) is changing to 8ft wide and they are putting a wall at the end of the queen bed. They are going to install the optional entertainment system there now. No idea on exactly how it will look though, no pictures yet, though ours is coming off the assembly line on the 15th of November. Of course we are not buying either of their TV's, we already have an LCD we can install from our current TT.

I see who posted the question! You know about the changes! Who ever gets there new trailer first needs to post pictures!

Bill

Ahhh a little healthy competition! 1 million post-credits to the winner!! Just kidding... no-one would realistically get a 1,000,000 post credit on a site like this.

i have a 08 2701ss. i put a LG 20" lcd tv in on an arm. it fits perfect and has the digital tuner built in so it will pick up the digital channels because all channels must be broadcast in digital format by 09. we love our 2701ss execpt for the concertone unit being noisy.

We went ahead and purchased a 2008 2701SS that RVW had instock without the entertainment center at the foot of the queen bed. We looked at an 8317SS with that setup and decided we wanted the openness offered with the older 2008 model.

I did get to measure the 2701SS that the local dealer had and was able to determine it could handle up to a 20" LCD. My plan is to put a 20" LCD on an articulated arm so we can watch it from the front or back of the trailer. I'll be picking the trailer up from RVW next Thurs, so we'll go from there.

Congrats

Congratulations on the purchase. Post some pictures once you get it. I don't really like the wall either, but our dealer didn't have any on the lot, and they are giving us a good deal. Not quite RVW level, but enough to keep us local. Our build date is November 15th, so we will probably pick it up the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Now if the weather cooperates! Last year we camped in our hybrid the weekend after Thanksgiving.
