Yep, what Kim said.

I wouldn't go out and buy a set either. They sell for anywhere from $36 to $40 a piece.
DO YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH BEER THAT KIND ON MONEY CAN BUY?

Dealer even told me on our walk through to just pack them away somewhere and forget we ever had them.

ditto on the slide locks. The few time I used them we arrived at the campground with them rolling around loose on top of the slide.

I propose we move the slide lock discussion to:

Slide lock bars

where it belongs. 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, ....

Like this one. You twist it one way to tighten and back to loosten.
With two main slides I use mine all the time.
My reasons are posted here (and in other threads); I think they are good ones.

I use mine all the time and this is our 7th year with the 5er. I have never had them come out when driving. If yo install the seal side where the end of the lock can tilt the same way as the seal, or course it will come loose. I turn it 90 degrees or that on the seal side.

I use mine as well, and have also never had them come loose. They will fall out only if installed incorrectly.
If anyone thinks for a second, and realises that there is nothing holding the top of the slide in place, it becomes obvious why FR includes the bars.
