Slide motor

OK, I give up. Where is the slide motor on a Rockwood 2104S?

2104 only has one slide. The dinette sits on it

I won't have mine until sometime next week, so I'm not positive. The motor SHOULD be attached to the end of the slide "jacks" (for lack of the correct word) and mounted parallel with it. There should be an access hole on the outside of the slide or the trailer frame directly under the slide, depending on which way the motor is mounted, to manually crank the slide in and out if something breaks. The motor SHOULD be right next to that.

I looked underneath by the frame and but I'll check a little better in the am. Hope you enjoy your 2104 as much as we like ours. It seems that most people like the 2109 bit we like the dinnette.Have had it about 6 mos and nothing major wrong. Thanks for your help.

Mine is under the sofa on the 2109S, is it under one of your dinette seats? I have to agree, that is a nice floor plan. With the sofa that I have the window is to your back.

I looked up pictures of a 2014 on-line and it's a Schwintek slide. Here's a link to info on that slide from Lippert's site... Schwintek Service and Warranty

Thanks. I found them. After looking at Schwinteks info they sow a controller with led lights to indicate problems. Do you know if one is located on the trailer. FYI when I asked my dealer when I picked up the tt they stated no manual was needed since the system was so simple. I guess I'm just a dummy.

I don't know where the controller is located...can only suggest that you look in cabinets and behind any removable panels.

Thanks for the help. The motors on a 2013 2104 are located on the inside at the top of either end of the slide. On the trailer wall not on the slide. Thanks for the link. Now all I have to do is find the controller.
