Slide out bed on windjammer

I have a windjammer with the rear slide out bed. The bar that supports the bed has snapped off! Has anyone else had this problem & how did they fix it! see photos. Thank you for your help

Yes I have had the same problem. Snapped off just like yours in the pics. Found that they only put three screws in where there should have been 5. I reattached it with some cheap floor screws and it has lasted awhile but just found two more sheared off. We have rough roads in California! I am researching what to do. Tougher screws maybe? I am going to call Forest River for some advice. Please share any knowledge if you came up with a fix.

Hired a local welder and came up with this fix. Hope it will last.
