Slide out sticking at top

When moving the slide out the top sticks in place until i give it a slight push. Only happens on the outbound. Any ideas why? This is a 2016 Rockwood Mini-lite 2109s.

This happened to us.
But it was because we camped in wooded campgrounds.
The tree residue got on the seals and side of trailer and acted like glue.
Since we got a slide topper, it's never happened again.

Thank you. This trailer has only been out twice. Plus we do have the slide out awning. Am going to lubricate slide mechanisms with Liquid Wrench RV Dry Lubricant to see if that helps. Now I just have to figure out where they are. ;o)

Have you cleaned and lubed the seals?

It could be as Dan noted, something causing the seals to stick.

Yes it has been pretty hot and trailer has been in storage unti this past week. Cleaned and applied silicone to the seals top and sides, and cleaned and applied dry lube to gear runner on bottom. Hopefully that helps.

Mine was sticking, found some glue thye residue on both upper corners, cleaned off and applied wax to TT in those areas and put silicone spray on gooey area.

Clean the seals with seal cleaner and conditioner. Spray it on, let it foam up, then wipe with an old rag. Also, baby powder applied lightly along the seals tends to keep everything from sticking to them. When the seals are dry, simply shake a little into a dry rag, toss it up and down a few times to get the powder dispersed through the rag, and then wipe it along the seals. No more sticking.

Good ol' standby. Inexpensive and very effective, use it myself. Learned the baby powder trick as an auto mechanic working to make windows roll up and down mo' easy.
