No. You would not want the unit to move (snow weight, tire pressure, stabilizer failure, sinking, high winds, etc.) and have the slide stay and the rest of the unit move.

I put my superslide out when it is in storage, as it makes it easier to do stuff inside, and I do put supports under the slide. It probably isn't necessary, but it can't hurt either. But I also have the whole camper up on jack stands, so it is very solid.
If the camper is just sitting on its tires and the camper jacks, it can bounce around a bit. If the slide is blocked up, then it will move around a bit as the camper moves, but shouldn't be any big concern.
Having said that, the slide shouldn't need any support. They aren't built very well, but they are supposedly designed for it. (famous last words!)

Some manufacturers say no it can damage the tracks etc. It may void the warranty.....This was used more for the older tip out "slides". This has been addressed several times you can do a search but I would not recommend using the slide supports.

I also say no. And as stated if the camper moves for what ever reason it can case more damage then good.

using slideout supports are an old holdover from when they were called tipouts and the technology was new.
modern slideouts are engineered not to need supports and owners are warned NOT to use such things.

We were just talking to the Forest River rep at the RV show in Pgh. Pa, he told us not to put a support under them. He said it can cause damage to the slide and seals and create a water leak.
Going on his advice we won't use them.
