Slide topper on a mini lite

I have read a lot of posts with both pros and cons of toppers, but I am convinced I want to add one to my Mini-Lite 2504.
I was wondering if anybody has done this?
Were there any unexpected issues?
Does this need to be done by a Forest River dealer or can I just use the local RV place?
Will this in anyway impact the warranty?

I wished I had the slide topper on our Rockwood, installed before we paid for it.
Cost way more than from the factory.
CW installed ours and had the lowest price. Has been working fine for 10 years. But any dealer or rv shop can install it.
Shouldn't affect warranty.
