I just drove from western NC to Shipshewana, IN to pick up my new TT (Rockwood Ultra-Lite 2304DS) from WanaRV in the morning. 11-1/2 hour and 650 mile drive, some mist and fog in NC and TN mtns and very light dusting of snow through Ohio and Indiana. Going down to 14 tonight here with a little more dusting. Plan to drive back on the weekend after PDI and shakedown run in the area. Have a tour scheduled of Rockwood line at the factory on Thursday morning. My TV is a 2007 Tundra Double Cab with 5.7 V8 and 4WD. Don't anticipate any problems but hope the weather holds.

Congratulations on your new unit, we have a 2906WS on order and hopefully will be in next week. We live 20 miles from Millersburg where Rocwood is. We did a tour last week and it was really interesting. Anthony was our guide and he did a great job. He moves right through it so make sure if there is something you want to get a better look at or explanation just ask. He was great at answering all my questions and taking a closer look at something if I wanted to.
Have fun and safe travels home.
Make sure you grab some donuts from rise and roll. It worth the little drive.

We're right across Lake Ontario on the shore where we can see the lights of Rochester or Watertown NY but not the towns themselves.
Mother Nature is wreaking vengeance on us too. We were kinda thinking this stuff was all over for another year.

Ours looks like this 3 -4 months out of the year.We cant even get to it 2 months of the winter,the snow is over the bottom edge of the doors.

We're supposed to pick up our new 8289WS next Friday, but our trade-in is trapped in a yard full of snow/mud. We haven't even gotten the cover off because that's covered with snow/ice, too. Temperatures going below freezing again tomorrow and mixed precip forecast this weekend, so I'm not sure we're going to make the 3/31 pickup.

That really stinks. Congrats on your new fiver. Looks like we won't be able to move until end of April at this rate. So mad that the carport wasn't up so I can at least go in and pretend I was somewhere nice.
