Smile Spot cleaning the bedspread?

Anyone have any experience spot cleaning the bedspread/cover in a Rockwood?

We have an 8329SS that we are liking a lot but have noticed a couple of small dark spots on the bedcover near the foot of the bed.

The cover is labeled 'Dry Clean Only" so I am wondering if there is a good spot cleaner that someone may have used?

I throw that out and use my own blanket so I don't have any practical experience with it.

However, there are dry clean at home kits that I've seen at Wal-Mart. Not sure how effective they are though.

You could just get it drycleaned. Or do what Kels4g said. Throw it away and get a nice quilt that's washable for camping use.

I agree with using a different bedspread. The one that comes with the camper may look nice and match the curtains but they don't hold up very well. I replaced mine with a washable spread. Like it much better.

Thanks everyone. I think we'll keep it as is for now untill it drives us crazy an then we'll risk the spot clean, dry clean it or get something else!

When we get a new rig I always pack away the impractical dry clean only bedspread and replace it with a matching washable option. Come sell or trade in time I pull out the fancy original. Always impresses.

Took that puppy and the coordinating window valances an ties off as soon as we got it home. They are stored for the day we sell our TT. Then I will take my nice things off and put the drab, scratchy things back on. We like our TT to feel like home

Spot cleaning vs washing

I washed ours in the washing machine with cold water and regular detergent. I did not put it in the dryer, but it dried nicely hung out in the sunshine.
