#~\¥£*# squirrels!
Slogged out to the trailer through the snowdrifts to search for something in the
"miscellaneous stuff" drawer. It was kind of gloomy inside and when I opened the drawer I saw dark lumps. What on earth? Took a few seconds to discover that they were pinecones! (looked like something else unmentionable, so I wasn't too keen on picking them up at first, LOL). Now I can worry until spring about what else the perps might be doing in there! I removed everything edible in the fall, but not good enough, I guess. So cute, those red squirrels, but can be so destructive. I am worried about the Murphy bed, but can't open it with the slide in.

Have you looked into putting Bonus dryer sheets inside? I have the little tree rats all around my yard but they don't seem to be interested in the MH. I put dryer sheets in every area of the MH when I packed it up this fall and I haven't seen any signs of any thing being in it so far.

I'll stick some Bounce in there. I thought about Irish Spring soap. Supposed to work for deer, but I know from experience that mice eat soap, so not sure about squirrels! So far, no mice. Guess the squirrel claimed it first

Nuts!!!!!
Last summer we had open the windows with the screens down and headed out to the race in Dover Delaware.. we had an open bag (5lb) of peanuts on the table inside our Rockwood 2306... big mistake.. when we returned we found that. the varmints broke throught the screen and made a big mess inside. There were nuts all over... in our bunks, sink, floors, and bed... when we opened the door, they broke out thru the screens in the bunk area,, as a result, I placed a decal of a squirrel in cross hairs.. just below the window... It worked...
p.s. we also close the windows and make sure the peanuts are in the ref...
