STABLIZER vs SCISSOR JACKETS -- NEWBIE WANTING TO UNDERSTAND
All,
I know there is much discussion about this issue on this site and others as well. I am just trying to understand the difference. On my 2604, I have the stablizer arms, mounted to the corners on the under-belly. I also have mounting brackets that are welded to the frame in a fore to aft position along the frame itself.
My question that I have is what do I gain from scissor jackets verses the stablizers? Is there any gain to the additional cost? I have the x-chocks that help with the fore to aft movement. Will the scissor jackets reduce movement over the stablizer arms?
I know these might seem elementary questions, but I just don't know the difference and want to have the most effective set up. Thanks,
