There are people who use a dehumidifier during storage.

The thing to keep in mind about dehumidifiers, is maintenance. You need to keep a check on them fairly regularly and if they have a reservoir, you'll either need a permanent drain or will need to empty it pretty often.

I was looking at the dry units that you can recharge by plugging in when they change color to dry out.

I am sure some do but we have never used a dehumidifier in the trailer while in storage.

I have been told to put a couple of Damp rid containers from Walmart. I think my wife picked some up the other day along with some Bounce dryer sheets. I'll be putting both in soon.

I use a dehumidifier only while we camp, not during storage. Typically in Florida it's very humid so we use a dehumidifier often in our 2016 Rockwood Premier coach popup. Damprid is the safe way to go unless you plan on running a drain hose from your dehumidifier so you don't have to always empty it. But be careful that the drain hose doesn't pop off or leak for obvious reasons.

We put a colander on top of a 5 gallon bucket and pour a bag of loose DampRid in the colander. (Home Depot) We change it every 6 weeks, or so. Works great.
