Suburban water heater
Hello, my Suburban water heart is not producing enough hot water on propane, DW is always complaining when taking a shower. How can I adjust the temperature to have longer cycles of heating.
Thank you in advance for your help!!!

I am not sure you can adjust the water temp.
I would check the valves on your water heater pipes. Many have bypass valves to aid in winterizing the heater. Yours might be sending both hot and cold to the shower and not just hot. SO your wife is never able to just pull full hot.
I made this mistake last summer. Drove me nuts until I figure out that I never changed over the valves after winterizing it.
Good luck.

Does it produce adequate hot water on electric?

Has this ever been an issue before?
Is this a new to you rig?
Do you have both electric and propane heating options?
Lots of questions here.
We’re here to help if you can give us more info.

As we are five, our previous TT would run out of hot water in the middle of the 4th person taking shower IF I left only the gas or only the electric heater on.
The solution was to turn on both while the troops where taking shower...
After that and during the day I leave only the electric on....
That solved our problem.

In addition to the bypass valves, check the outside shower.

How can a 6 or maybe 10 gallons of hot water ever be adequate if DW stands under the shower for 30 minutes? She needs to learn to get in shower and get out. With my 10 gallon tank both DW and I can shower shortly after doing a load of laundry.

See Post #7 here:

Note that MOST people want to drop the temperature, because it's too hot at the kitchen and bathroom faucets.
