Kinda off topic, but still concerns A/C. My son wants to use the camper with his wife and twins over the 4th July holiday. They will be sort of Boone docking. The camper will be parked at the father in laws farm for the celebration. He has a 8000+ generator with a 30 amp receptacle. Will it handle just the a/c ? I am sure it will be fine, but I am just checking. Nothing else will be plugged in the generator just the Windjammer. Am I right to assume it would be no different than plugged in at a campground ? There won't be any microwave use, they just want to run the a/c at night for the twins. What do you think ?

Just make sure it is not a 4 prong receptacle. If it is, it is 240 volts. It would be worth checking before plugging in.
