Sumosprings

Can anybody that is using these on their tow vehicle give me some insight as to what I might wanna get. We will be towing a Windjammer 3008 with a Chevy Silverado half Ton that has a towing capacity of 9000 pounds. I'm just thinking I need to beef up the rear suspension a little bit and want some advice.

I am using them on my Tundra. I just needed to replace my bump stop so install was easy. Noticeable difference being I have the squishy off road suspension when loaded up. 50% compression gives 1000lbs assistance. Biggest difference is when driving on rough highways, you can feel that it is riding on the mount as not as much vibration is felt.

Hope this helps

Do you have a 1/2 ton or 3/4 silverado? Check on you vehicles max tongue weight. My rough calculations on your unit would put you close to 1100 lbs, which you have to subtract from your payload.

I am running overweight as I did not factor in my vehicles payload when buying my TT. I feel comfortable with my setup and don't drive like an ass but I am aware NOW of how much to load/ leave at home.

I'm a little bit use to pulling overloaded as I pulled 34 coachman with a nissan xterraI'm a little bit use to pulling overloaded as I pulled 34 coachman with a nissan xterra. It's got interesting sometimes especially in moderate to high wind.
