Swivel TV mount

I finally decided on an 8313ss, the only thing I don't really like is that the TV doesn't swing toward the couch. I am sure this mount can be replaced. I'm sure some of you have done it.

What mount should I buy? Can I just go to Best Buy and pick up a mount, or should it be an RV mount? Are there any drawbacks to putting it on a swivel?

Thanks
tom

Tom, Hi,

We are new to the forum, just picked up our camper yesterday, used but new to us.

I have part of an answer for you. I have no clue about where or how to mount, but I will suggest you shop for a mount at Monoprice.com. I have no affiliation with them, but have purchased all my mounts for the house from them, without issue. Supposedly it is where tv installers buy their mounts. They have all kinds of other things as well, also cheap place to get cables too!

I will watch this thread because I want to install a couple tv's in our camper as well.

Thanks

Bill & Vickey

TV mount

I found that the "Bello" brand swivel design works well in a RV. The TV mounts to the base via a "V" shaped bracket held on by two small screws which makes the TV easy to remove for storage.

I used model 7460, worked great.
