Swivel Wheel / Smart Trailer on 30FT Rockwood Fith Wheel

Does anyone know if I can attach a swivelwheel trailer or smart trailer to my 30Ft Rockwood fithwheel? For those who don't know, the swivel wheel/smart tariler is not actually atrailer because it turn with the fifith wheel even when backing up. It actually becomes an extension to the RV. I want to take my 500 lb Honda Silverwing Scooter with us when we hit the road full timing and I think the swivel wheel would be perfect.

Thank you in advance for your response. Larry

does your rockwood have a rear reciever hitch, or a cargo rack. many of the 5er out there now do not have much strength in the rear end frame or bumper, and that may be a concern. If it already has a rear hitch or cargo rack, then it may be strong enough back there. the swivel trailers are pretty cool IMO.

Double-check the VA regulations/laws, but I was under the impression that Virginia still considered a swivel-wheel as a trailer and you'd be double-towing (aka triple towing). Don't trust the manufacturer of the swivel wheel trailer.

Thank you gentelemen for the fedback. I realize that if I buy a swivel wheel I will need to get a hitch welded (custom design) to the fithwhel frame not the bumper. I have read reviews where one guy traveled all over the country (didn't specify which states) and never got pulled over for having the swivelwheel attached. Said he got a lot of funny looks from state troppers but never stopped.
