Table & Chairs touch up colors? (8329ss)
I see messages on exterior touch up, cabinet door touch up but nothing so far on table & chairs touch up...
We have a Rockwood '16 8329ss. It's equipped with a free-standing table and chairs and we've noticed that the finish on a couple of the chairs is getting dinged up. We now cover the tops of the chairs with pillowcases, so they are protected, but it seems the 3 or 4 campouts we did without protection took their toll.
The interior wood is called "DRIFTWOOD • ASPEN INTERIOR", although for the chairs I am not sure it matters. The finish appears to be a paint, because it's essentially flaked off in a couple of spots, has thickness and looks different from the wood underneath.
Has anyone done any touch-up on the chairs? Without guidance, I think I'll wing it and see what happens in an unobtrusive spot with whatever I "think" matches. if that does not work, I'll take a whole chair in to a real paint store and see what we can come up with. If anyone has something that looks right on these chairs, I'd love to know!
