Tank heaters

Our trailer is equipped with tank heaters and were camping in Ohio right now in 34 degree temperature. At this temperature should I be running the tank heaters?

Myself it would have to be allot closer then 34* before I would turn the tank heaters on. Keep in mind you are getting heat from the floor to the tanks and surrounding area.

By showering or using the Kybo you add heat to the tanks. I would not work till it would get much colder, hoping not till next November.

Tank heaters

Has anyone installed the 'pipe'/'elbow' heater pads? Not sure what good the tank heater pads do if the pipes are exposed?
