The Calmark cover is on the Jammer

Got it winterized, Cab fresh is smelling good to keep the mice out.
The tennis balls on the down spouts worked really nice.
Thanks for the advise on covers.

Hope it works well for you. We just concluded our last trip of the season and I am going to wax the trailer and do some touch up spots with Dicor and then it's time to put my CalMark on our 3008W. This will be our second season of use with the cover. I hope it goes on as easy this year as it did coming out of the factory box last season!

Looks good -

Question - wouldn't the tennis balls on the down spouts inhibit water from exiting when it rains or am I missing something?

The cover sheds the water so not really an issue. Maybe a little bit gets through but not enough to worry about. You could make a smaller slit on the bottom side or punch an ice pick hole through it.

I understand your reasoning. But I wonder if enought rain comes down, won't the balls be pushed off and then what are you left with?

I am assuming the balls are there to prevent insects from gaining access. Wouldn't screen be better that allows rain water to drain.

I don't cover my FW as it is sheltered, so please don't think I am asking stupid questions, but I perhaps will have to throw a tarp over mine in the future.

The balls are there to prevent the corners from ripping the cover. Some moisture will work its way in and will accumulate probably with not enough pressure to cause them to come off and it will make a mess in there.

The tennis balls are really tight on the spouts. I am not to worried about alot of rain and snow water causing a problem with the down spouts with tennis balls on them.

The cover is made of Sunbrella material. its the same material I have on my fishing boat cover and it eliminates almost 100 percent of the moisture from coming into the boat. The great part is it allows moisture to exit out from the cover with out letting much in. I treated it with 303 product that makes the sunbrella material more water proof.
