The good and the bad

Just got back from 8 days 1200 km. First extended trip with this trailer.

The bad - dinette slide stopped working on day 4.
The good - we had the manual slide crank and knew how to use it.

The bad - access door to front compartment where sewer hoses stored jammed. Could not turn key -bent it. Could not figure out how to remove a drawer to get access from inside.
The good - There was a Rockwood dealer just outside the campground and they removed the drawer so we could get at things (for free!).We had an extra key and fixed the lock and loosened the latch. Problem solved.

The bad - leak from somewhere in shower and also around 1 sink drain.
The good - Message from our dealer on our phone at home when we returned saying to bring in the trailer 1st thing Monday to fix.

The bad -we had to come home.
The good - going out again in 2weeks!

lol, I'm glad you had a good time and the dealer will take care of your problems.
Knock on wood my 11 yr. old Cardinal 5r has preformed flawlessly all summer. We have been out 40 days so far, and going out next weekend. Then once or twice in Oct. jdadoug

You guys did good! Not sweating the small stuff can make a big difference in your experience.
