I was on my way to Menards for the magnetic towel holder when DW called to say that a magnet won't stick to the range hood!! Must be aluminum in a 2018 2509S

I'd be really surprised if the hood was aluminum, but if so thats a real bummer.

Magnet works on our 2018 2504S range hood just fine. If your range hood is black, then magnets will work.

Do you have the ss package? If so, maybe that's the issue. Stainless isn't magnetic.

You could try using some 3M automotive body molding and trim tape to apply the paper towel holder to the stainless steel. Just clean it good first with some isopropyl alcohol. Once it is on, consider it permanent!

Yeah. Or I could use command strips velcro version (which would be removable).

We love our 2018 2509S and we are currently camping as I type this :-). I just had my husband take this picture after I saw you standing on that tiny foot stool. From one shorty to another I recommend buying a footstool with a larger platform. This one is 24 x 16. The height of the outdoor kitchen is the only negative thing I have to say about our 2509S.

LOL! Great stool. I'll have to look for a larger one. I've been making hubby cook on it.

Honestly, a small stool like that comes in handy for a lot of other stuff when camping.

Look into purchasing an exercise step (or fitness step). They're dirt cheap, come in a variety of sizes, and are fairly light too.

DW is height-challenged. She full-timed in a 22-foot travel trailer for six years before we got together. Although space was very tight, she found a fold-up stool indispensable. There are a couple of styles available from all the usual sources (Amazon, Walmart, etc.). The one I'm showing isn't exactly the same as hers.
