Tire question

What tires (brand, size and rating) normally come on the Rockwood TTs? In particular the 8329SS. Just curious as to anyone's experience with the supplied tires and do they switch out brands a lot? I am guessing that the size and rating is fairly consistent but curious as to what usually comes with them. My guess is that the tires being used for these TTs are probably not considered to be the best.

Thoughts?

Brand will likely be what ever was unloaded off a truck when the wheels and tires were put together.

Keep the air pressure where it needs to be and keep a hard eye in them look for bulges and what not.

Install a tps system if you want.

Keep the tires covered when not in use.

After three or four years without a problem buy new ones, age is a problem before mileage becomes a factor.

Get rid of the OEM tires as soon as you can afford it. The OEM tires do not have the best reputation, and may have been severely damaged from overheating due to a lead footed delivery driver. I clocked one doing 85+ on the freeway last week. Don't know if this is common, but the ST tires are rated at 65mph and driving like that will quickly compromise the them. Also note, the load rating in some cases are very close to the loaded weight of the trailers. The manufacturers are minimalists when it come supplying anything more than what is required. Check other forums/posts for recommendations.
