I just wondered if something happened to the plant (Factory Code MD).
I can not answer that question. I bought my tires from Black Tire they own 32 Good Year stores in NC. I talked to the head manager at Blacks corp office and he said that there was rumor that they where going to ship all that to the China plant but did not know it happened yet. He apologized for letting me be told buy the store that they were made in the USA. I asked for a USA tire when I bought them and they told me they were made at the Fayetteville plant. My code is 2VHH...

I could not find anything on a plant Code 2V, but here's a link to the DOT Plant Codes.

Found a much more comprehensive list, that includes the "0" Codes as well. This list looks pretty complete and up to date.

According to Herk when I gave him the code on my tires, they are also made in China. I run at 65#+/- 2# cold.
