TV antennae

We are on our inaugural trip in our new mini-lite and while the antennae is up, the TV says no signal. Any advice? Should the TV/audio system be on a special setting or channel? Otherwise, the trip is going AWESOME:-)

Make sure the amplifier is on. There's a switch behind the TV where the antenna cable is attached. Should have an LED lit.

Did you tell the TV to use the antenna as its input?

Go into MENU, go to setup tv, be sure tv is set on antenna when using antenna, set to cable when using campground cable system. After being sure your on antenna (assuming your using it), do a channel scan. This may take a few minutes and don't interrupt the process. Once the scan bar reaches 100%, the tv will revert to a channel and you can navigate thru all the channels found during the scan. This process will only be successful with the amplifier light on and the antenna pointed in the general direction of the local stations. Good way to determine the direction to point your antenna is check out other rv's in the campground and emulate them! Good luck.

We had not run the channel scan. Rookie mistake. I went to set up and followed the steps in the set up wizard. Thank you all again for your kindness.

Remember anytime you use the TV at a different location than the previous one, you will need to run a scan for that location. Remember to push Amp button to off when you break camp. It uses power when on.
