TV Bracket, where do I put it?? On my 2604WS

Have another question. I would like to install the TV in the bedroom, but the wall that it gets mounted to has no bracket nor does it show you where to install the bracket on that wall. There is only the cable outlet. Usually there some sort of label that shows exactly where to install it. Do I just feel around or use a stud finder to locate the area??

I found in the bedroom of mine that below the outlet if you lightly push on the wall you'll be able to feel the backing plate

Ok great, will take a look and see what I find. Not sure I should order the identical one that is mounted in the main living area or get something different. I heard that the locking clip on that one some times is very hard to engage. Any suggestions. I have seen one with a square mounting plate and a locking pin. But not sure how good that one is.

I have had no problems with the licking clip. I ordered one off of Amazon and it would not mount to any TV I looked at, so I sent it back. Went with the factory one, had my dealer order it for me

I called forest river, they are asking $106.00 for the TV bracket, I thought that was a little steep. But I guess I rather know that I won't have a problem attaching my TV to it.

I got the locking mount from CW about $40 or $50 mounted it to tv and to a cabinet works great locks everytime and I put a longer string on the locking pin to make it easier to find. even has the tilt function. great value IMHO... put a 32 inch tv on it BTW

There is a label on my 2604WS showing the location. IIRC, it's up a little and to the left of the outlet. As suggested, pushing on the wall will locate the mounting location.
Keep in mind, whatever goes on that wall will have to clear the wardrobe slide or be removed for travel.

First day out camping today. I have checked the wall. Feels like just above the cable outlet there is a stud behind the wall. There is no label on my wall in any area. Guess they might have for got to put one on.
