TV is now on a Swinging Pedestal (2306)

On a positive note - they did do something right - I finally recieved my 2306 Today and was very impressed to see the TV no longer sits on a corner shelf (was on a shelf when I ordered mine 8 weeks ago) - they put it on a swinging arm to where you can view it from the queen bed or the bunk beds - Below is a picture

That looks to be a little more functional than the TV shelf.... have that option on my Flagstaff 23LB (same as the 2306)

TV and mount looks good!

Like the cabinets --- is that the 'Tuscan wood' or light oak???

Light oak with the wood look flooring - I like the look of the wood look flooring but isnt the same as what I was expecting so we will see how it holds up

I think the way the Tv Mount is they did an awesome job - I wasnt fond of the shelf when I saw it on the first 2306 I looked at

when I ordered my unit I walked thru a few other mini lites with diffrent options to see what I liked and one of the units had a cushiony wood look flooring - when I walked into mine it wasnt cushiony - it almost looks like it is a piece of vinyl that floats so we will just have to see

Does it also tilt down or do you still have to (Crane Neck) to see it. We had to make a wedge shim for the one in the Roo we had. Youroo!!

youroo - it doesnt not tilt - just swivels side to side
I could lay in my queen bed and watch it without getting a crane neck as long as I put a few pillows under me

NICE!

Much more movement from the TV mount than I expected. The lack of TV shelf is a good thing!

I was wondering how any one could see the TV from the TV shelf - would have a very stiff neck LOL

atleast this way it can be swung out and viewed - best engineering so far LOL
this is what I was going to do if I had the shelf - now I dont have to

hopefully yours was made when they did the change - when I ordered mine - they had one that had just come from the factory and I took a look at it and it had the shelf and the tv was being stored under the bed.

The make on the TV is Konka - it is a 22" LCD tv - there website is www.konkaamerica.com

thank you for the feedback.. we just ordered it from the dealer last week.. so HOPEFULLY it will have the new one. looks nicer, too, and the kids would like to see it from their bunks. when we were checking some out on the lot.. i thought the tv shelf was in an awkward place. there are a lot of things we are anxious to see when the trailer comes in, some things we see in some pics and not in others..ie, the small tab;e near the bed that flips up.. not sure if ours has it or not, doesnt matter either way, just excited to see it. around the 1st week of may, they say. lol. thanks again

If you just ordered and got it with the conveince package - you should have the new TV look - I ordered mine about 8 weeks ago and picked it up Wednesday.

I am pretty sure your's will have the bed section that flips up and will have 3 drawers for storage underneath it - if you would like a picture of the piece I can get you one.

Hopefully you didnt get the storm windows option unless you want your windows un-usable except the emergency exit - I did call the factory and they told me I just had to remove the screws to the frame that holds the storm window's only - pretty easy to remove - I havent removed them yet but am debating on whether I am going to or not so we will see.

we never saw anything about the window option, hopefully they are workable, i love fresh air! we have the murphy bed option ( the whole reason we picked this TT) so im not sure about the storage, my husband saw some storage under the sofa,( which is in front of the bed when it is up in the wall ) just not sure how to get to it yet. i guess we'll find out when it comes in. just need all the snow to melt so we can get out there and start camping!

if you didnt do any window options which am pretty sure you would know - your windows should open and close and I agree fresh air makes a world of diffrence when you are couped up in a tight space.
I read some where the murphy bed option takes up the front lower space and not sure if you will have it at the bed either - maybe start a thread asking about the murphy bed option and am pretty sure some one with that option will chime in and give you good details
Me and my daughter camped last night 2 hours away in my parents driveway LOL My father had extra stuff to give me since they recently upgraded to a larger Motorhome and didnt need some of the stuff from the old camper and they wanted to see it.

LOL, my kids can't wait to "camp in the driveway"! actually, i can't either...lol. you must have been happy, getting free stuff is always a good thing! pretty much anyone we know either does not camp, or the tent.. so we will be getting everything new. I can't believe how many things there are out there.
yeah, maybe i can start a new thread, so far, i have not seen too many ppl talking about the murphy option.. i guess its a fairly new thing, i love the concept of it. we tried to also get the triple bunks with it, but apparently, if you have the murphy bed, you cannot get the triple bunks, yo have to have the extra storage under 2 bunks. thats fine with us, we didn't mind either way. i guess the bottom of the triple bunks is extra small anyway, like for a dog, and we dont have any pets, so extra storage will be good. maybe that's where they put the storage instead of being under the bed? thanks again for all your input, i wish i was in florida instead of here right now!! lol

Btw...I forgot to ask you, what is the electrical connection like?
I never asked what type of cable it came with or what size outlet was on it; Im assuming it has a 30 amp outlet and comes with at least 25 ft of cord (30 amp), and hopefully a 15 and 50 amp adapter.

I had the same dilema as you on the shelf cause I saw the one before I decided to order it and once mine arrived I was like WOW I like that alot better

you will get a 30 amp cord and a 30 to 15 converter
the end that plugs into the campers is a push in then slightly twist and then twist the black ring like a boat has.
I am in the process of buying a angle head cord that plugs into the camper (on sale at camping world now) to take some of the strain off the cable since it plugs straight in and has no strain relief on it.
I am also purchasing a 30 to 50 amp converter as well since they did not supply that as well.

Ty for the info....
How long is the 30 amp cord? LOL I,m gonna need a rlly long one 'cuz the sites I have booked have 25m + distances to the power. (eek)
Im thinking its 25 foot, so I will need a 75 ft extension (which will probably weigh as much as me). My dad is a retired commercial electrician so Im hoping he will make me one
Initially I think Ill make due with a normal extension cord, but when the hotter weather hits Im gonna need the 30 amp.
Im looking into a surge protector and voltage meter for inside the unit, 'cuz you never know whats gonna happen here with the electricity. We can have blackouts etc.. when the usage grows. And one way to really mess up your air is to not have enough amperage coming in.

I want to say it is a 25 Foot cord
you could buy a new cord and make the one you get with your trailer into an extension cord as well buy just changing the end on the cord to be a female.
Just dont skimp on the Extension cord cause you dont want it to draw too much and cause a fire

I personally dont think a surge protector is needed but a voltage meter is always good to have - Ilooked at the Surge Protector's but do not know many that actually have one and use it.
