TV reception

Having real problems w/my tv reception. Have a 2012 8315BSS with a konka tv. Camp a lot w/friends and they allways get more stations than us. Have the upgraded antennae. The dealer wanted us to bring in the trailer to make sure it wasn't an antennae issue. Had the tv hooked up in the house to cable and had the same issues. Could it be an antennae? Or did this tv come w/a defective tuner?

Is this a new problem or did it never work from day 1?

I'm sure that you've probably already tried setting the input and programming (searching) for the 'over the air' channels. Does it play DVD's? The upgraded antenna is the Wingman?

Try with another tv, if the reception and channel search is the same, you'll know if it is the tv or the antenna. At least you'd know before driving to the dealer.

What brand of tv do your friends have? The reason I ask is not all tv receiver sections are created equal.
