Two questions from Newbie

We have a Rockwood Signature Ultralite. First question, the radio/CD/DVR player.... we cannot pick up any radio stations when camping. However, we can get radio stations on a portable radio.... there are 3 different FM's and 1 AM band, however, we can only get static. Suggestions? Second question, is there a place to find out about all the acronyms everyone uses on the forum? Thanks!

I'd start by pulling it out and checking where the antenna plugs into the back of the unit

If it's like ours, removal is easy. Just use a flat-head to pop the cover off (lower left and right) then lift it up and it comes off. Then two screws on bottom and top. Click image for larger version

These radio units are horrible. We have radio station 3 miles away and it won't pick it up. My walkman sized radio will pick up that station 3 almost 4 different places on the dial. There is a post on the i66 and/or i33 radios. You will find interesting. My '15 rockwood signature ultralite has a new radio unit on its way from FR. I pulled my unit out antennae was connected.

These radios have a history. Today we're installing our 3rd radio. Check out the forum I RV radio - in the Appliances and Electronics forum. Lots of good information and contact information for the manufacturer.
