Ultra lite 2702ws

I am considering buying an Ultra Lite 2702ws. I have a F150 with a 3.5 ecco boost with heavy duty towing package with a 3:55 axle. Has anyone towed this TT with the F150 and would you recommend this TT? Is it a reliable TT? Thanks.

I have a 2703ws and tow with a 2011 3.5 EB with 3:55 rear. I have the tow package and E4 hitch with Airlift 5000 airbags. You know it's there but so far all is in spec and no troubles.

We tow a 2012 2701SS with our 2013 EB SC long box, max tow, 7700 lb GVWR with 3.73 gears and a ProPride 3P 1400 hitch. Like Martsing, we know the trailer is there, but the truck does an excellent job towing it.

Look at your payload sticker on the door jamb on the truck. Tongue weight on this trailer will almost certainly grow to at least 1000# or more. Subtract that from stated payload and you have amount left that you can carry in truck. The Ecobeast will undoubtedly pull it but comfort level is subject to your interpretation. I pull a similarly sized trailer that the TW is 850# loaded with an all steel 2014 Screw w/ 6 1/2 foot bed and personally prefer the extra weight and wheelbase for towing. Prefer having a 3/4 ton as before but due to DW having multiple back surgeries the comfort level of the 150 was the deciding factor. The truck does not make me uncomfortable towing and does an admirable job towing the TT. Your truck will handle it and likely be in specs but my experiences may not translate to your situation. Good Luck

My 2012 F150 Ecoboost towed our 2703WS just fine.

But, the payload was 1244bs. With the tongue weight approaching 1000 lbs,
I was overloaded if I wanted to take the wife and dog with me.

I didn't want to try explaining that to my insurance company.

I have a 2702ws and tow with a 1/2 ton. I love the TT. Just a reminder it is an ultra lite and there are some lightweight materials used. I bought the Furrion observation camera for it. 5 min install and it helps a ton.

Like another person said. Check your weight sticker as well as your user manual.
