HI here is a century battery box that may work.

Century Plastics: White Heavy Duty Battery Box - (part#: GCE-G)

This is 6 volt battery box but they have battery boxes for 12 volt battery also. I have seen this battery box installed on an other v nose trailer. There was no problem with the propane compartment door operation and the battery box. The steal support may that holds the box may need to be modified to hold the larger battery box. I am going to make this mod before I go to Alaska in 18. I have the Flagstaff V-Lite version of the windjammer 3025w with the front bathroom. I was all so looking at putting 2 agm under the sinks along with a dc to ac pure sine wave inverter. I want the extra battery power so I can run the furnace at night and not drain more than 25% of the battery's over night with out running the generator.

Hope this helps Tim

Yes...I see that. I was actually thinking that I might switch those for the smaller 20lb tanks. It's so easy to swap them out for full ones just about anywhere.

Yeah...having a full sized queen bed sounds awfully good to me being 6'1''. Thanks for letting me know about the 2017 model. Our Wildwood came with undersized tires which I almost immediately replaced with proper ones.

That'll work for me. I do think the VL is they way I want to go. Love that mid bedroom floor plan!

Fabulous. That's an easy mod for me to make. I have no welding skills but I can drill and put nuts and bolts in all day long, even at my age.

Good find! Sounds like an ideal battery box. In my present Wildwood I use a 1000w inverter connected to the entire trailer. To do this you must make sure the converter is switched off when the inverter switches on or else you could have an electrical loop and damage the batteries or even start a fire. A double pole switch is a good way to go which switches off the converter while turning on the inverter. Having it connected this way we have 110v in all of our outlets while dry camping and the 1000w is enough to power the toaster, Keurig Coffee maker, vacuum cleaner, etc. I charge the Trojans daily using a generator and a stand alone high amperage charger. After using this setup for 2 years we've never had a problem and the batteries perform as new.

You'll also get the recliners with the V. I think the other TT has just the swivel rockers because there is less distance from the back wall to the cabinets in front of the chairs compared to the VRL and the recliners won't work there. The exit doors are different on the 2017 to 2016( no gas shock) , but there is a opening limiter built in. The switches on the WH are both inside on the panel..electric too! I've made tons of mods on mine, but we enjoy it

Most of the storage on the 2604ws is in front of the axle. (More tongue weight)

I pull the 2604ws with mine. Although my truck pulls this trailer just fine, I would be reluctant to pull anything with a heavier tongue weight.

It's not the pulling capacity (9200lb with the 3.92 rear end) that is the limiting factor, it's the load carrying capacity (1200lb ?)
I have same truck and trailer, except I have 3.55 gears. The truck pulls it fine, but like you said, the 2604 is a little tongue heavy. I'm a couple hundred over on payload, but do not exceed axles according to the scales.

Just want to add that my 2016 2604WS came with recliners. The VL was on my short list, and in fact, I preferred it on several levels.... the killer for me was the fact that you could not get to anything with the slides in. I tried, if i could have used it for quick overnights with the slides in, I would have likely gone that way.

Good luck with your decision!
