vent covers Vs hail

Had a hail storm run through the other day. Ive got 1 vent cover with a hole in it and the other 2 have cracks. Whats my best option for replacement? Is there anything stronger? thanks.

Ah, the joys of the midwest. I don't know of anything better.

Are you speaking of vent lids, or vent covers?
Either way, replacements are available at CW or Amazon, and I suspect most dealers.

I would also invest in max air vent covers as they are much much heaver and less likely to crack or get damaged in hail.

They really aren't that expensive, we did our 2 regular vents and power vent for under a hundred dollars. Not much so there are no worries when out enjoying your camper.

Is the main purpose of those covers to keep out rain?

The first upgrade I did was the Maxair II vent covers. Allows you to leave the roof vent open, even in a downpour. They have a hinge on them, allowing you to open and clean out any dead bugs or debris.
