Verify Options

When I pick up my new Ultra Lite in a couple of weeks I can easily verfy that I got most of the options that I ordered just by looking. However what about the 15,000 btu air conditioner. Also, what about the tinted safety glass windows. Are they obvious?

Verifying options

Ask the dealer before you arrive to have a copy of the invoice for you to review to verify all equipment ordered is on the RV. If he is concerned about his cost showing have it mark it out.

When we picked up our XLR, we did not do that. About 3 hours into our PDI, we realized we did not get the extreme package we ordered. That included heated tanks, extra insulation, and double pane windows. We were given the option of taking the unit as is, with a refund, or have the dealer order a new one.

I am still not sure if we got the 15 AC upgrade. Can anyone out there how I can tell? I've looked at it from under and on the roof and see no markings.

The tinted safety glass will have a etched stamp which should be in one of the lower corners stating it is safety glass. Not sure but I think all windows in a RV is safety tempered glass. Regular tempered glass would break with the flexing and vibrations while traveling. Remove the filter panel on the air conditioner. There should be a model tag stuck inside on the unit. Have the dealer look it up for you and show you the size. Some even have the size designated on that tag.
