Works for me…………Like I have said before, we all have our own ideas. I also have a 28 gallon tank, but storing it is always a problem.

Yea, that is why that large one on the truck roof looks dangerous to me. In the olden days truck roof's were stronger, I guess. Today, that much water would most likely damage the truck.

They used to put it up there so gravity would transfer the water to the camper without a pump. Using a pump, the truck bed or tailgate would work just fine.

I think I'd find a way to work around the water challenge before I accepted the quality of a Jayco over a Rockwood. No comparison.
