Angry Warning New Rockwood 2506S Locked it Self

Hello to all out there,

Yesterday after unlocking my new Rockwood 2506S, walking inn, setting down a grocery bag and placing the RV and car keys on a key rack, I stepped outside to grab another bag from my car, when I tried opening the camper door I realized it had locked itself.

In more than 35 years owning different brands of travel trailers I have never had one locked itself.

I ended up calling a local RV Mobil service company which luckily had a master key that unlocked my camper for $40.00, and it only took about 30 minutes for the gentleman to show up.

For someone more remote something like that could mean a bigger headache.

Just be aware.

Regards to all,

I'm anal when it come to spare keys. Besides just getting them locked inside, what if you just lose them? I keep a 2nd set for EVERYTHING hidden in the TV.
And should that get locked on me, I have a spare valet key in one of those magnet boxes hidden outside the truck. And RAM has this Uconnect thing that will unlock the truck with my phone.

I'm not an expert. But I play one on the internet.
