Washer & Dryer in Windjammer

Camping now for two weeks. Prior to trip, I bought a “Panda” portable washer and dryer to go in our Windjammer 3029w. I removed the dinette table and chairs and put the washer and dryer in the opening. I installed a few tie down straps for traveling and traveled well. To wash, we roll it to the sink area to wash and for drying I moved the dryer outside to dry cloths. They both work fantastic and may mount permanant utilities in the dinette area if we decide it is worth needing to be stationary, but wo4ks great as is so far. Bought a castor dolly to put washer on to. Move easier to sink area. Wife loves it and no need to pack for two weeks to travel now. Bought them all on Amazon and price isn’t too bad either. Dryer is 110 volt but dryes pretty fast for 110 volt. We never used the table and chairs, so was a waste of space for us.

Really cool idea where to put them. I don’t think I’ll put them in our 2504s lol. One question, how much water does it take to do a load? Jay

Just guessing for the water is about 5 gallons but haven’t tried to measure amount to see for sure. Heavy load may use more and lighter setting less. First load, my wife put on heavy which wasn’t needed to have as much water, so next load, we lowered the level setting and did great still.

I'd be a little concerned about the additional weight on the slide when it comes to extending or retracting. Later RJD

It hooks up to my kitchen faucet, so it can use hot or cold and adjusted at the faucet. We only do cloths as we are staying for more than a few days. Towels and cloths as needed only.

I Was concerned myself, but the combination of washer and drier are less than 100 pounds and the other slides have that much weight on them such as the other side having sofa and refrigerator in it and slide looks identical. Saw no sign of strain when moving. Added weight isn’t huge without table and chairs which are light, but appliancs are around 40 pounds for dryer and 50 for washer.

We also have a small washing machine and a electric dryer
We have a new 2018 windjammer 3008w with a
Table and chairs on the living room slide out we can move
Our dining table a little closer to the sofa and that leaves
Enough space to store our w/d with some type of tie down
For travel.if we use small loads the electric dryer does a
Load in about 25 minuites
We have a quick connect on the bathroom sink
Faucet to hook our washer up for hot water
Similar to the outside BBQ quick connect for propane
Definitely keeps the war department happy

Washer $ Dryer in a Wind jammer 3025

I have a 3025. My washer is in the bath room hooked to the sink and drains in the shower. The dryer sits by the front door in the bedroom and vents in a indoor dryer vent filled with water and covered with a nylon stocking to catch excess lint.
