Water issue while filling FW tank

After filling our fresh water tank we noticed water on the floor in the passenger side rear of our 2017 8289WS fifth wheel. This is the same area where the water fill is located on the outside of the rig. I did notice that I did not get any water out the vent when full as I have in the past. I pulled the underbelly to gain access to the fill hose but was unable to get to it from underneath. We ended up taking the fill spout off the side of the camper as we were expecting either the fill hose or the vent hose had come loose. Once off it was discovered that the main fill hose was not clamped very well to the neck of the fill spout. Reattached and now all is well. The Wife cleaned off the original caulk before I reinstalled with new caulk and the three original screws. Actually looks better then before.
Just wanted to pass along for anyone that may have the same issue. Fairly easy fix instead of leaving the rig at the dealers for who knows how long.

Good info. Have you filled again to prove that fixed it? (Completely sounds like it should have.)
