I like to use Meguiar's Flagship wax. I have used it on many boats and RVs. It goes on and polishes off very easily. You can purchase it at auto detail stores or West Marine. I avoid the decals and use 3M 303 Protecant on them. Frequency depends on exposure. I try to do it at least twice a year but some do it much more often.

This is what I use: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Meguiar's M5032 Marine/RV One Step Cleaner Wax

Goes on easy, comes off easy and seems to do a very good job.
Before I used it I tried several other Meguiar's Products but settled on this one being the best for my use and results.

As far as how often, I do mine at least twice a year, sometimes more like three times a year. My unit is sheltered when we are not camping and it gets washed after every trip so bugs, stains, etc... do not sit on it long at all. Got a lot of money invested in the Ole Girl and want to keep her looking pretty.

I'm with Ashley on the Meguiar's Marine/RV one step cleaner wax. Use it like you would on your car, a small area at a time and wipe off with a clean terry cloth towel. Like a 2or3 sq.foot area / a 12oz. Cold 🍺🍺🍺😜

I use Meguiar'sNXT it is a polymer and actually bonds to the paint. Best part is you can do entire RV and wipe off hours later and it comes off easily. Makes removing bugs and dirt a breeze.
